Updated: September 13, 2026
RunIt respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to upload or share only content they are authorized to use.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on RunIt infringes your copyright, send a written notice to social@runitteam.com with “Copyright notice” in the subject. The notice should include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work or representative list of works; (3) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it; (4) contact information for you; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and (6) a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the right allegedly infringed.
What happens next
RunIt may remove or disable access to content when appropriate and may notify the affected user. Where the DMCA counter-notice process applies, a user may submit a compliant counter-notice and RunIt may restore material in accordance with applicable law unless the claimant timely provides notice of a qualifying court action.
Repeat infringement
RunIt may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights or repeatedly submit unauthorized content, taking account of the circumstances and applicable law.
DMCA agent status
RunIt is establishing its formal designated-agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until that registration and public agent information are complete, the email above is the operational channel for copyright complaints. This page will be updated with the designated agent’s required contact information when registration is complete.
Misrepresentations
Do not knowingly make material misrepresentations in a copyright notice or counter-notice. If you are uncertain whether a use is authorized, consider obtaining legal advice before submitting a formal notice.
