Safety & Removal Requests

Updated: September 13, 2026

Use in-app reporting where available for harassment, threats, impersonation, privacy violations, unsafe conduct, or other community-safety concerns. For serious reports that cannot be submitted in the app, contact social@runitteam.com with “Safety report” in the subject.

Nonconsensual intimate imagery

RunIt does not permit intimate photos or videos shared without the depicted person’s consent, including intimate imagery that has been digitally created or altered to appear authentic. A person depicted in such content, or an authorized representative, may request removal whether or not they have a RunIt account.

How to request removal

Email social@runitteam.com with the subject “Intimate image removal request.” Include information sufficient for us to locate the content, such as the profile/post/message/game where it appears, a URL or screenshot if available, and a brief statement that you are the person depicted or are authorized to act for that person and that the intimate depiction was published without consent. Include a safe way for us to contact you if follow-up is needed. Do not send additional intimate imagery unless it is necessary to identify the material.

Response target

For a valid request covered by the TAKE IT DOWN Act, RunIt will remove the reported nonconsensual intimate imagery and known identical copies within 48 hours as required by applicable law. We may preserve limited evidence where permitted or required for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or law-enforcement requests while preventing continued user access to the reported material.

Emergency situations

If someone is in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services. RunIt is not an emergency-response service. If a report involves credible imminent harm, child sexual abuse material, trafficking, or other serious illegal conduct, RunIt may escalate the matter to appropriate authorities or specialized reporting channels as required by law.

No retaliation

Do not retaliate against a person for making a good-faith safety or removal request. Knowingly false or abusive reporting may itself violate RunIt’s Terms.
