Privacy Notice

This notice describes how RunIt HQ, Inc. (“RunIt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through runitteam.com, the RunIt beta application, beta testing, support, community-safety functions, and related communications. The beta is currently intended for adults age 18 or older.

Information we collect

Website and beta interest. We may collect your name, email address, city or metro area, age range, sports, play frequency, product interests, feedback, referral source, contact messages, and communication consent.

RunIt account and profile. If you create a beta account, we may collect your display name, username/handle, email, mobile number, birth year, hometown, sports, skill level, availability, travel radius, profile photo, optional gender and player details, favorite teams or players, and account-security information. Optional profile details should be provided only if you want to use the related profile or matching feature.

Activity and community information. We may process games you create or join, participation history, follows, posts, comments, messages, ratings, reputation-related events, referrals, notifications, safety reports, moderation records, support requests, and other actions needed to operate the community.

Reputation reviews and appeals. If you challenge a reputation event or request review of reputation-related information, we may process the challenged event, your selected review reason, the explanation you provide, relevant game or system records, review status and deadlines, reviewer decisions, and a limited audit record. A review may also involve integrity signals needed to evaluate whether feedback is duplicate, coordinated, retaliatory, manipulated, or otherwise unreliable. We do not disclose proprietary scoring weights or confidential reviewer/anti-abuse information through this process.

Location. RunIt may use a hometown or other location you provide for nearby discovery. Precise device location is treated as sensitive information in our beta privacy design. It is requested only when you choose a feature that needs it, after a RunIt-specific notice, and after your browser/device grants permission. You may withdraw RunIt’s recorded precise-location consent by turning Location sharing off in app Settings and separately revoke browser/device permission.

Device and service data. We may process browser/device information, IP-derived network information, application logs, crash/error data, security events, push-notification subscriptions, and similar technical information needed to provide and secure the service.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide profiles, game discovery, social and messaging features; support reputation and community functions; review and correct disputed reputation information; detect abusive, coordinated, retaliatory, or manipulated feedback; deliver requested notifications; prevent abuse and fraud; moderate content and respond to safety reports; provide support; improve RunIt; communicate about the beta or product where permitted; and comply with legal obligations. RunIt does not use sports participation or profile data to make medical or health-condition inferences unless a future health feature is separately designed, disclosed, and reviewed.

If you identify a reputation issue as related to accessibility or an accommodation, provide only the minimum context reasonably needed for RunIt to review the event. Our ordinary reputation-review process is not designed to collect medical records or diagnoses, and you should not send them unless RunIt specifically determines that additional information is necessary and provides an appropriate method to do so.

Optional website analytics

If you allow optional analytics on runitteam.com, we may use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Metricool to understand page visits, referral sources and campaign labels, completed beta/contact actions, and clicks to selected RunIt destinations. These providers may process browser/device information, event data, cookies or similar identifiers, and approximate location derived from a network connection under their respective terms. Our custom website measurement is designed not to send form answers, names, email addresses, private messages, or reputation data to these analytics tools.

These optional analytics load only after you allow them. You may change your choice through Analytics preferences. Supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable optional analytics. Declining analytics does not prevent signup, contact, or shopping.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

RunIt does not currently sell personal information. The beta app is configured with sale/sharing and targeted-advertising opt-outs as the privacy-protective default. If our practices materially change, we will update this notice and applicable controls before using information in a materially different way. You may submit an opt-out through Your Privacy Choices.

Service providers and sharing

We may disclose information to vendors that provide hosting, infrastructure, analytics you have allowed, communications, error monitoring, content delivery, security, support, and other services on our behalf; to other users when you intentionally use public or social features; when necessary to investigate safety or security issues; in connection with a business transaction; or when required by law. When a verified deletion request applies to information held by a service provider, RunIt’s operational process is to transmit or complete the required downstream deletion where supported, subject to documented legal, security, safety, and backup exceptions.

Public profiles and user content

Information you choose to make public—such as a display name, profile photo, sports profile, public posts, game information, or reputation signals—may be visible to other people. Do not place sensitive personal information in public posts, game descriptions, or chats. RunIt privacy settings may allow you to limit some profile and activity visibility.

Retention

RunIt uses purpose-based retention and seeks to keep identifiable information only as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose. Our current adult-beta operating targets include:

• active account/profile and ordinary user content: while the account remains active or until you delete the content;
• raw precise coordinates: preferably not persisted; when temporary retention is operationally necessary, generally no more than 30 days unless attached to a documented safety, fraud, or legal matter;
• beta-interest information for people who do not become users: generally 12 months after the last meaningful interaction;
• ordinary security/audit logs: generally 12 months;
• support tickets: generally 24 months after closure unless attached to an unresolved matter;
• privacy-request records: generally 24 months;
• user-visible reputation review/appeal records: generally 24 months after resolution, subject to account deletion, unresolved review, safety, legal-hold, or legal-defense needs;
• limited reputation decision audit records: generally 3 years after the decision, using minimized or hashed identifiers where appropriate and subject to legal hold/counsel review;
• safety/moderation records: generally 3 years after closure, subject to legal hold and counsel review;
• minimal terms/consent/deletion evidence: up to 6 years where reasonably necessary for compliance or legal defense, subject to review;
• marketing suppression: retained as needed to honor your opt-out until you affirmatively opt back in or we implement a lawful replacement suppression mechanism;
• raw website analytics: configured for no more than 14 months where the provider supports that setting;
• fully deidentified aggregate metrics: may be retained longer when they cannot reasonably be linked back to a person.

Operational backups may contain deleted information until normal backup rotation, currently targeted at approximately 35–90 days. Backups are intended for disaster recovery rather than ordinary processing. If a backup containing previously deleted information is restored, RunIt’s deletion and suppression records should be reapplied before the restored environment returns to ordinary production use.

Account deletion

If you can sign in, use RunIt Settings → Account actions → Delete account. The app requires a deliberate confirmation before permanent deletion. You may also use our external deletion page if you cannot access the app.

Deletion removes the account, public/private profile information, ordinary user-created content and messages authored by you, push subscriptions, participation links, follows/blocks, ordinary reputation/trust records, user-visible reputation appeal records, and other supported account-linked product records. Shared event records may remain without your active account/profile association. We may retain narrowly limited information when reasonably necessary for community safety, fraud/security prevention, legal obligations or claims, privacy-compliance records, minimized reputation-decision audit records, backup integrity, and communication suppression. Information retained for those purposes is restricted from ordinary matching, personalization, advertising, and marketing use.

Your privacy choices and requests

RunIt uses a nationwide adult-beta baseline that allows users to request access, correction, portability, deletion, marketing opt-out, withdrawal of sensitive-data consent, or review of a privacy-rights decision. Visit Your Privacy Choices. Our operational target is to respond to verified requests within 30 calendar days.

We may need to verify a request before disclosing, correcting, exporting, or deleting account information. A signed-in request is generally verified by the authenticated session. For external requests, we normally verify through the email already associated with the account. Do not send passwords, government identification, or other sensitive documents unless we specifically determine that a stronger verification method is legally necessary.

If we deny a privacy request in whole or in part, you may submit an appeal through the same Privacy Choices page. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

Marketing communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or through Your Privacy Choices. Account deletion does not erase the minimum suppression information needed to avoid accidentally re-enrolling a deleted or opted-out email address. Transactional, security, or service messages may still be sent where necessary to operate an active account or complete a requested process.

Age

The current RunIt beta is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. Do not create an account if you are under 18. RunIt may reject or remove accounts that do not meet the current beta age requirement.

Safety and legally required removal requests

For urgent community-safety concerns, use available in-app reporting or contact social@runitteam.com. For requests involving nonconsensual intimate imagery, including digitally altered or AI-generated intimate imagery, use our Safety & Removal Request process.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

U.S. privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether an applicable state privacy law covers RunIt, you may have additional rights or timing requirements. RunIt’s nationwide beta process is designed to provide a consistent baseline without requiring users to prove state residency merely to make an ordinary privacy request. We may ask for jurisdiction information only when needed to determine a specific legal requirement.

Changes

We may update this notice as RunIt evolves. We will change the effective date above and provide additional notice when required.
